Salman Khan Stuns in Black Sherwani at Vikram Phadnis’ Gala

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan returned to the ramp after a long time, leaving fans amazed with his royal and stylish look. The actor walked for designer Vikram Phadnis at his 35th anniversary fashion gala, held at JW Marriott, Mumbai, on October 14. The event marked a grand celebration of Phadnis’ journey in fashion and cinema, with his new collection titled “Ananta” taking center stage.

Salman Khan closed the show, grabbing everyone’s attention in a classic black sherwani made of raw silk. The outfit featured intricate resham embroidery in shades of gold, maroon, and fuchsia pink across the shoulders, chest, and sleeves. The open sherwani was paired with a pin-tuck kurta and sleek straight pants, creating a perfect mix of elegance and confidence. The outfit reflected Vikram Phadnis’ signature style — a blend of tradition, luxury, and fine craftsmanship.

Sharing his thoughts after the show, Salman said, “I’ve known Vikram for years; he’s been part of many of my films and memories. Watching him complete 35 years and being part of this celebration feels truly special.”

The evening turned even more glamorous with the presence of several celebrities, including Sushmita Sen, Bipasha Basu, Sonakshi Sinha, Genelia Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Dia Mirza, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Rhea Chakraborty, Neelam Kothari Soni, and Tanya Deol, who all attended to support the designer.

Vikram Phadnis’ collection, Ananta, which means “endless,” reflected his design journey of over three decades. The collection showcased earthy tones, zardozi, aari, and threadwork, creating pieces that were both structured and fluid, capturing timeless Indian couture.

This wasn’t Salman’s first time impressing in traditional attire. Fans still remember his 2018 ramp walk with Katrina Kaif for designer Manish Malhotra, where he wore a Pathani suit and embroidered jacket. He also once turned heads at the IIM campus during the promotion of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, wearing a khadi kurta-pyjama with a floral shawl.

Salman Khan once again proved that no one carries Indian ethnic wear quite like him — with charm, grace, and effortless style.
