JSW MG Motor India has opened its first MG Select Experience Centre in Worli, Mumbai. This is the company’s first luxury showroom in the city and the first of 14 such centres planned across India. The brand aims to finish setting up all these centres by the end of the third quarter of 2025.
The new centre follows a special theme—‘Reimagining Luxury’. The layout is simple and clean, like an art gallery. The walls are white and the colours used are soft and earthy. The cars are placed in a way that they become the main attraction, highlighting their look and engineering.
This luxury showroom is more than just a place to buy cars. It promises a full premium experience to the customers. MG wants to combine modern technology, eco-friendly values, and personal care. The idea is to offer something unique to those who love comfort, class, and innovation. These centres also support MG’s broader vision of CASE mobility—Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric.
Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, said the luxury car market in India is growing fast. He believes MG Select will help raise the customer experience to a new level.
The Mumbai centre is managed by dealer partners Gautam Modi and Nidhi Modi Chheda. They said that the design and feel of the space reflect MG’s long history and future goals. Their focus is on smart design, innovation, and eco-friendly transport for the modern buyer.
At the launch, visitors got to see two of MG’s most advanced electric vehicles—the MG Cyberster, an all-electric sports car, and the MG M9, a luxury electric sedan used in official events in some countries.
JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture between China’s SAIC Motor and India’s JSW Group. Their goal is to boost local manufacturing, introduce new technologies, and build a strong, green auto industry in India.
