Mahindra has introduced its latest Star Edition of the Thar Roxx SUV to the Indian market. The special edition starts at a price of ₹16.85 lakh (ex-showroom) and delivers new design elements together with high-end features but maintains existing engine specifications. The Thar Roxx Star Edition presents an entirely new exterior design which exudes boldness. The vehicle features a piano black front grille combined with 19-inch piano black alloy wheels which create a distinct appearance. Mahindra has added a new Citrine Yellow colour together with Everest White and Stealth Black and Tango Red as other available colours. Its special Star Edition badge establishes the vehicle as a limited-edition model. The SUV cabin provides an experience which exceeds standard vehicle interior quality. The vehicle interior features black leatherette seats which display a suede finish, providing both a sporty and upscale appearance. The vehicle provides various comfort features which include ventilated front seats together with dual-zone automatic climate control and sliding front armrest and reclining rear seats and cruise control and electrically foldable ORVMs..
The Star Edition includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which displays digital driver information and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and provides connected car features and showcases a surround-view camera system. Music lovers will enjoy the nine-speaker premium sound system.
The SUV maintains its existing mechanical specifications. The SUV continues with the 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. The petrol version comes with an automatic gearbox, while the diesel is available with both manual and automatic options. All car models operate using rear-wheel drive system.
The Thar Roxx Star Edition provides six airbags and parking sensors and tyre pressure monitoring system and other essential safety components for driver protection.
