At an age when most children are focused on school and hobbies, a 10-year-old designer is already making a name in the global fashion industry. Max Alexander recently became the youngest designer to present a collection at Paris Fashion Week, attracting attention from fashion lovers around the world.
Max runs his own small fashion label and works with a team to create unique designs. He also has a strong following on social media, where people regularly watch his creative journey and new collections.
Presenting a collection at Paris Fashion Week is considered a huge achievement for any designer. For Max, it was an exciting moment. During an interview with CBS Los Angeles, he happily described the experience as “a big deal,” adding that Paris is known as the global home of fashion.
Max first became widely known in 2023 when he entered the Guinness World Records as the youngest runway fashion designer. Since then, his career has continued to grow quickly.
His latest collection included 15 dresses. What makes his work special is his focus on sustainability. Max explained that nearly 90 percent of his collection is biodegradable or recyclable. Many pieces are made using “dead stock,” which refers to leftover fabric that might otherwise be thrown away.
By using such materials, Max hopes to show that environmentally friendly fashion can still look beautiful and creative. His designs combine bright colours, playful ideas and thoughtful fabric choices.
His brand has also started gaining commercial success. Some of his products, including bags and charms, sold out within a single day after being released.
Max presented his designs at the famous Opéra Garnier, a historic building that has hosted many important cultural events since 1875.
His interest in fashion began when he was just four years old, experimenting with fabrics at home. By the age of seven, he had already organised his first fashion show.
