Samsung may soon launch a new budget smartphone in India, the Galaxy M07 4G, following the debut of the Galaxy M06 5G earlier this year. Leaks have revealed details about its specifications, design, and expected price range.
Price in India (Expected)
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy M07 4G could be priced between ₹8,000 and ₹9,000. This makes it slightly cheaper than the Galaxy M06 5G, which launched at ₹9,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model and ₹10,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
Display and Design
The new handset is expected to feature a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720×1,600 pixels), a 90Hz refresh rate, and 260ppi pixel density. It could also be slim, measuring 7.6mm in thickness, and offer IP54 dust and splash resistance.
Performance and Software
The Galaxy M07 4G may run on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is said to run Android 15 out of the box, with Samsung possibly promising up to six generations of Android updates — a big plus for a budget device.
Cameras
For photography, the phone is expected to carry a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. On the front, it could sport an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device may also support 1080p video recording.
Battery and Charging
Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy M07 4G might house a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. While this is the same battery size as the Galaxy M06 5G, it should still provide solid day-long usage for most users.
Extra Features
The phone is tipped to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio.
If leaks are accurate, the Galaxy M07 4G will offer a balance of affordability, performance, and essential features, making it a strong choice in the entry-level smartphone market.
