Design and Build
The phone comes in Birch Wood, Dark Oak Wood, and Midnight Ivy colours. We tested the Midnight Ivy option, which has a deep emerald-green look and a dual-tone camera island. Despite its massive 7,000mAh battery, the phone is slim at 7.68mm and weighs only 189 grams. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water.
Display and Performance
The P4 Pro packs a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and 4608Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort. A dedicated HyperVision AI chip, powered by Pixelworks X7 Gen 2, boosts visuals and enables up to 144fps gameplay in supported games like BGMI.
Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with an Adreno 722 GPU, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. A 7,000mm² VC cooling system ensures stable performance during heavy gaming. The phone ships with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, with three years of software and four years of security updates promised.
Cameras and Battery
The rear features a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera. AI-based features aim to improve the photo experience.
Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. It also supports Bypass Charging to prevent heating during gaming.
First Verdict
With its sleek design, gaming focus, and long-lasting battery, the Realme P4 Pro looks promising. However, it faces tough competition from Poco X7 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 5, iQOO Neo 10R, and others in the same price range.
