OnePlus has officially teased the launch of its new Turbo smartphone series in China. While the company has not shared a launch date yet, it has confirmed that the lineup will arrive soon. Ahead of the official reveal, pre-orders for the OnePlus Turbo series have already opened in China through the Oppo China online store.
Customers in China can reserve the upcoming phone by paying a small token amount of CNY 1, which is roughly Rs. 13. However, the pre-order listing does not reveal key details such as price, full specifications, or colour options. OnePlus is expected to share more information gradually in the coming days.
The company confirmed the launch through a post on Weibo, but it did not clarify how many models will be part of the Turbo series or what they will be called. OnePlus has only hinted that the Turbo lineup will be positioned in the mid-range smartphone segment.
Recent leaks and online reports have already given a fair idea of what to expect. According to leaked images, the OnePlus Turbo may come with a modern design featuring a hole-punch display for the selfie camera. The phone is expected to be available in a green colour option. On the back, it could feature a square-shaped camera module with two rear cameras.
The leaked images also suggest that the power and volume buttons will be placed on the right side of the phone, while the left side will remain clean. The rear panel is expected to be made of plastic, keeping the device lightweight and cost-effective.
In terms of display, the OnePlus Turbo is rumored to feature a large 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution. It may also support a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming and media consumption.
Performance-wise, the phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. One of the standout features could be its massive 9,000mAh battery, which is said to support 80W fast wired charging. This could make the device appealing to users who want long battery life.
The OnePlus Turbo series is also expected to ship with Android 16. Reports suggest that the phone may launch in select global markets, including India, where it could be introduced under the popular OnePlus Nord lineup.
For now, OnePlus fans will need to wait for the official launch to get confirmed details.
