CMF has launched its first over-ear wireless headphones, the CMF Headphone Pro, adding a premium option to its growing audio lineup. Priced at $99 (around Rs. 8,000) in the US, the new headphones promise a mix of design, innovation, and long-lasting performance.
Price and Availability
The CMF Headphone Pro will be available in three colours — Dark Grey, Light Green, and Light Grey. While sales in the UK and EU start immediately, US buyers will have to wait until October 7. Prices are set at EUR 99 (about Rs. 10,000) in Europe and GBP 79 (around Rs. 9,420) in the UK. The headphones can be purchased through the Nothing website and select partners. However, CMF has not yet confirmed an India launch date.
Key Features and Design
This is CMF’s first attempt at over-ear ANC headphones, and the brand has packed in plenty of features. The headphones use 40mm drivers with nickel-plated diaphragms, a 16.5mm copper voice coil, and a dual-chamber design to deliver detailed sound. They support Hi-Res audio playback with SBC and LDAC codecs.
A highlight is the Energy Slider, which allows users to adjust bass and treble levels depending on the music. Alongside, a roller dial controls volume, playback, and ANC, while a customisable button gives quick access to Spatial Audio or AI assistants.
The headphones also come with interchangeable ear cushions, available in Light Green and Orange, letting users change the look and even tweak the sound experience.
Noise Cancellation and Battery Life
The CMF Headphone Pro offers Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), reducing up to 40dB of unwanted sounds with three adjustable levels. Using the Nothing X app, users can further customise controls and set up a Personal Sound profile.
Battery life is another strong point. The headphones deliver up to 100 hours of playback (or 50 hours with ANC enabled) and 50 hours of talk time. They also support USB-C charging, offering five hours of playtime from just five minutes of charging. A full charge takes around two hours.
With stylish design, smart features, and a competitive price, the CMF Headphone Pro is set to make waves in the wireless audio market.
