Toyota Unveils 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition with Bold New Look

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition, an upgraded version of its best-selling SUV that combines rugged performance with striking design updates. Building on the success of the 2024 edition, the new Fortuner Leader Edition offers refreshed styling, enhanced features, and a sportier appeal aimed at SUV lovers across India.

Fresh Design and Premium Feel
The 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition comes with a host of cosmetic and functional enhancements. On the outside, it features a new grille, front and rear bumper spoilers with chrome detailing, glossy black alloy wheels, and a bold hood emblem. The SUV also gets a dual-tone black roof, further adding to its sporty character. Buyers can choose from four elegant shades — Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver.

The interior has been designed to match the vehicle’s powerful exterior. It now features premium black and maroon dual-tone seats, stylish door trims, and illuminated scuff plates. The edition also adds auto-folding mirrors and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to enhance both convenience and safety.

Performance and Powertrain
Under the hood, the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition retains Toyota’s trusted 1GD-FTV 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger. The engine delivers an impressive 201 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It is available with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission, offered in a rear-wheel drive (4×2) setup, ensuring a powerful yet smooth driving experience.

Customer-Centric Financing and After-Sales Support
Toyota has introduced several flexible financing schemes for the new model, including funding plans for up to eight years, Toyota Smart Balloon Finance, and pre-approved offers for extended warranties and accessories. The Fortuner Leader Edition comes with a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty, which can be extended to 5 years/220,000 km. Additionally, customers will benefit from five years of complimentary roadside assistance.

Expressing gratitude for customer trust, Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at TKM, said the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition is designed for those who desire a “sportier and more dynamic SUV.”

Having sold over 300,000 units in India since its debut 15 years ago, the Fortuner remains one of Toyota’s most successful models. Bookings for the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition will open in mid-October 2025 through Toyota’s website and authorized dealerships, with prices available at dealer outlets.
