Propel Industries has introduced four new electric tippers along with a smart connectivity platform and a strong service program at EXCON 2025 in Bengaluru. The launch event was attended by Dr. Soumya Ranjan Samal, Founder and CMD of Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited, and Mr. J Rudrasekar, Director of Rajiraj Minerals Private Limited.

The company revealed four models: the 90CED, 70CED, 560HEV-X, and 470MEV Gen-2. Each model is designed for heavy-duty mining and construction work, focusing on power, safety, and long-term performance. Propel also launched Pulse.ev, a digital platform to monitor vehicle health, and Pro EV Care, a specialised service program for electric fleets.

Managing Director V. Senthilkumar said the new platforms are built to meet the real needs of tough mining and construction environments. He added that the company is committed to improving productivity, lowering operating costs, and offering dependable and safe technology for heavy-duty applications.

The 90CED model is the highlight among the four. It is a 90-tonne ultra-fast charging electric dumper with a 34 cubic metre capacity. It offers battery options between 310kWh and 650kWh and comes with modern safety features like ADAS Level 1, an electronic braking system, and driver fatigue monitoring. It also meets all DGMS safety standards.

The 70CED is an 8×4 mining tipper with a 25 cubic metre rock body. The 560HEV-X is built for construction and comes with an 8×4 layout and a 25 cubic metre box body. The 470MEV Gen-2 is a 6×4 tipper offering a 20 cubic metre rock body and three battery pack choices.

All four models come with a battery warranty of five years or 5,000 cycles. The lithium-ion batteries have an in-built firewall for automatic fire detection and suppression, ensuring safer operations at mining sites.

Siddarth Kirtane, President of EV Sales, Marketing and Service, said the new launches highlight Propel’s commitment to zero-emission heavy-duty mobility. Since entering the EV truck segment in 2023, the company has expanded across multiple sectors such as coal, limestone, iron ore, granite, and waste management. Propel trucks have clocked more than 5 lakh operating hours, proving their reliability.

Pulse.ev offers real-time health tracking, energy insights, predictive maintenance, and fleet optimisation. Pro EV Care provides a five-level service package with uptime assurance and on-site support, making fleet operations more efficient and predictable.
