The list includes 12 new names, taking the BJP’s total announced candidates to 83 out of 101 seats it plans to contest in the state.

Along with Maithili Thakur, several other candidates have been fielded from key constituencies. The names include Ram Chandra Prasad from Hayaghat, Ranjan Kumar from Muzaffarpur, Subhash Singh from Gopalganj, Kedar Nath Singh from Baniapur, and Chhoti Kumari from Chapra.
