Nothing Phone 3a Lite May Launch in India Soon, BIS Listing Spotted

Nothing Phone 3a Lite Review: Style Meets Solid Performance

The Nothing Phone 3a Lite could make its India debut soon, as the device has reportedly been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The listing suggests that the new smartphone might be launched in the country in the coming weeks.

A Budget-Friendly Variant

The Nothing Phone 3a Lite is expected to be the most affordable model in the company’s Phone 3a lineup. Reports indicate that it might share many features with the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which was launched earlier this year in India. This new Lite version could be designed for users who want a premium-looking phone with solid performance at a lower price.

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore shared screenshots of the BIS listing on X (formerly Twitter), revealing the model number A001T. This number closely matches the A001 model of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, hinting that the 3a Lite could be a reworked version of that handset with a few changes in design or specifications.

Expected Features and Price Range

According to early reports, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite will come in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It may be offered in black and white colour options, similar to other Nothing devices.

While the full hardware details are not yet confirmed, the new phone will likely sit below the Nothing Phone 3a, which was released in March 2025 at a price of Rs. 22,999 for the same 8GB + 128GB configuration.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro, which the Lite version may resemble, features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000mAh battery. It also has a triple rear camera setup with 50MP main and telephoto lenses, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

With the BIS certification already in place, the Nothing Phone 3a Lite’s launch in India seems imminent. If priced competitively, it could become one of the most popular budget smartphones in Nothing’s growing lineup.
