Reliance Jio has officially rolled out its free Google AI Pro subscription to all users, regardless of age. The offer, which gives 18 months of complimentary access to Google’s premium AI tools, was earlier limited to users aged between 18 and 25. Now, every Jio user with an active 5G unlimited plan can claim it.
How to Activate the Free Subscription
To get the free Google AI Pro plan, make sure your Jio SIM is active with a 5G unlimited plan. Then follow these simple steps:
- Open the MyJio app (or download it if you don’t have it).
- Look for the “Early Access” banner at the top of the homepage.
- Tap “Claim Now.”
- A browser window will open with subscription details.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Agree.”
- Once done, open the Gemini app and check your Pro status.
That’s it — your free 18-month Google AI Pro subscription will be activated.
What You Get With Google AI Pro
The Google AI Pro plan, normally priced at Rs. 1,950 per month, includes several premium features not available in the free version. Subscribers get access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s advanced AI model that supports deep research, text-to-image generation, and AI-powered writing tools.
One of the biggest highlights is Veo 3.1 Fast, Google’s new video generation model that lets users create short AI videos from simple text prompts — complete with audio and visual effects.
The plan also includes:
- 2TB of cloud storage across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.
