Samsung has teased the launch of its new Galaxy F70 series in India. The company shared the teaser on Flipkart, confirming that the smartphones will be sold through the online platform. However, Samsung has not yet revealed how many models will be part of the Galaxy F70 series or shared any key specifications.
A special launch page for the Galaxy F70 series is now live on Flipkart. While the page does not list features or pricing, Samsung says the upcoming phones will offer a fresh look to the Galaxy F lineup. The company has highlighted an “advanced camera” that aims to improve content creation. More details about the devices will be announced on February 2.
The Galaxy F70 series is expected to be the first 70-series smartphone under Samsung’s Galaxy F brand. Earlier, Samsung introduced 70-series models under the Galaxy A lineup, starting with the Galaxy A70 in 2019, followed by the Galaxy A70s and Galaxy A71. Since then, Samsung has not launched any new 70-series phone, making this release a notable return.
For reference, the Galaxy A70 came with a large 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and was powered by the Snapdragon 675 processor. It featured 6GB RAM, 128GB storage with microSD card support, and a triple rear camera setup led by a 32-megapixel main sensor. The phone also had a 32-megapixel front camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
While it is unclear if the Galaxy F70 series will offer similar or upgraded features, Samsung has described it as a refreshed version of its F-series. The focus appears to be on design and camera performance.
With the official reveal just days away, smartphone buyers in India can expect more clarity on features, pricing and availability very soon.
