At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics unveiled its next-generation Galaxy Book6 series, marking one of the company’s biggest laptop refreshes with advanced performance, AI capabilities, and notably slimmer builds aimed at creators, professionals, and everyday users alike.
The Galaxy Book6 lineup includes three models — Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book6. All are powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on the cutting-edge Intel 18A process, delivering significant gains in CPU, GPU and neural processing performance. This hardware foundation enables faster multitasking, smoother graphics, and accelerated AI-driven tasks like instant translation, intelligent search, and image editing without relying heavily on cloud computation.
Samsung has balanced this newfound power with a much more refined form factor. Despite the upgraded internals, the Galaxy Book6 range is slimmer than its predecessors — the Ultra model measures just 15.4 mm thick, and the 16-inch Pro is even thinner at 11.9 mm — thanks to a redesigned internal layout and improved thermal structure.
Creators and power users get enhanced graphics options: the Galaxy Book6 Ultra supports NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 GPUs, making it capable of handling demanding video editing, 3D work, and immersive content creation. Meanwhile, the Pro and standard models offer solid performance for productivity and everyday computing.
Display and multimedia have also been upgraded. The Ultra and Pro models sport Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with high brightness and adaptive refresh rates, alongside improved audio with Dolby Atmos-tuned speaker systems. Battery life claims are strong, with both the Ultra and Pro capable of up to 30 hours of video playback and supporting fast charging that can refill more than half the battery in about 30 minutes.
Samsung plans to begin rolling out the Galaxy Book6 series in select regions starting late January 2026, with colour options such as grey and silver. Prices and broader availability details are expected closer to launch.
With this launch, Samsung clearly aims to blend AI-first performance, premium design, and portability into its most advanced Galaxy Book lineup yet.
