The Poco F8 Pro, the upcoming successor to the Poco F7 Pro, is expected to launch soon in global markets, including India. A leaked image of the phone’s retail box has surfaced online, revealing a “Sound by Bose” branding. Tipsters also claim that the device may not come with a charging adapter in the box.
The Poco F8 Pro is likely to be a global version of the Redmi K90, which launched in China last month. The Redmi K90 features a 6.59-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a Bose-tuned audio setup. The leaked packaging hints that the Poco F8 Pro could share similar specifications, including premium sound quality.
According to the leak shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Poco F8 Pro will not include a charger in the box. This is a change from its predecessor, the Poco F7 Pro, which came with a 90W charger. Interestingly, the China-only Redmi K90 also ships with a charging adapter, so this could be a strategy to reduce packaging for the global variant.
The Poco F8 Pro carries the model number 25102PCBE and was recently spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification site. The listing confirms that the device will support 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. If it mirrors the Redmi K90, it will run Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the Redmi K90 has a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, it comes with a 20MP front camera. The phone also features a large 7,100mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.
The Redmi K90’s price in China starts at CNY 2,599 (around ₹32,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The Poco F8 Pro, expected to share similar specs, could follow a comparable pricing strategy for global markets.
With premium audio, a powerful processor, and a high-capacity battery, the Poco F8 Pro aims to attract tech enthusiasts. The leaked box and certification listings suggest the launch could happen soon, making it one of the most anticipated devices in the F-series lineup.
