Lava has officially confirmed that its new smartphone, the Lava Blaze Dragon, will launch in India on July 25 at 12 PM. The phone will be available for purchase via Amazon, as confirmed by a live microsite. Alongside the Blaze Dragon, the company is also expected to unveil the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 this month, although its launch date is yet to be announced.
Design and Key Details
The Lava Blaze Dragon is shown in a golden color option with a rectangular dual rear camera module. It will feature a 50-megapixel AI-supported primary rear sensor. Leaked images by tipster Mukul Sharma reveal another variant in black with a rainbow-colored camera module.
According to leaks, the Blaze Dragon will be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 128GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It is expected to run on stock Android 15, offering a clean and fast user experience. The phone may be available in two RAM configurations — 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB.
Expected Features
The Lava Blaze Dragon could feature an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. A 5,000mAh battery is expected to power the device, with support for 18W wired charging. These features place the Blaze Dragon in the mid-range smartphone segment, aiming to deliver a balance of performance and battery life.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2
The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 may launch alongside the Blaze Dragon. It is expected to succeed the Lava Blaze AMOLED 5G. The current Blaze AMOLED 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and features a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 6.67-inch 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, and a 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The upcoming AMOLED 2 could bring upgrades in performance and display technology.
With its Snapdragon processor, large battery, and AI-backed camera, the Lava Blaze Dragon is positioned to appeal to budget-conscious buyers seeking reliable performance and stylish design.
