Fujifilm Launches instax mini Evo Cinema in India

Fujifilm has launched a new instant camera in India called the instax mini Evo Cinema. It is a hybrid camera that can take photos, record short videos, and print pictures instantly. The camera is designed for users who like digital features but also want physical photo prints.

The instax mini Evo Cinema is inspired by Fujifilm’s classic FUJICA Single-8 movie camera from 1965. It comes with a vertical grip and physical controls like a dial and print lever. Users can take photos using the rear screen or attach the included viewfinder for a traditional camera feel.

The camera is priced at Rs 47,999. Pre-bookings are open from January 21 to January 27 on the instax India website. Sales will begin on January 28. It will be sold as a combo pack with the camera and two packs of instax mini glossy film. Each pack has 10 sheets. Pre-booking customers will also get two extra designer film packs.

The instax mini Evo Cinema allows users to review photos on its rear LCD screen and print only the images they like. It can also record short videos. A special feature lets users turn a video into a printed photo with a QR code. By scanning the QR code on a smartphone, users can watch or download the video later.

The camera includes a new Eras Dial feature with 10 visual and sound effects inspired by different time periods, including a 1960s film style. Each effect has 10 intensity levels, offering many creative options.

The companion smartphone app allows users to edit videos, combine clips, add templates, and print photos directly from their phone. The camera also works as a smartphone printer, making it a complete photo and video device.
