Shoppers Stop Showcases Wedding Magic with ‘India Weds’ Fashion Event

Shoppers Stop celebrated India’s vibrant wedding season with a grand fashion showcase under its campaign ‘India Weds with Shoppers Stop’. The event, held at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, transformed into a beautiful celebration of colour, culture, and craftsmanship, highlighting the essence of Indian weddings through fashion.

The show was choreographed by fashion icon Marc Robinson, with Louis Philippe as the wardrobe partner. It presented four unique fashion stories, each inspired by a special moment from the Indian wedding journey — from fun-filled pre-wedding functions to the elegant wedding night.

The event began with the Haldi & Mehendi segment, filled with cheerful and colourful outfits from brands like Kashish and Bandeya, representing joy and tradition. The Sangeet segment sparkled with glamour, featuring Aarke by Ritu Kumar and other festive brands showcasing flowing silhouettes and sequined designs that captured the spirit of music and dance.

For the Cocktail & Reception look, the focus shifted to sophisticated eveningwear — sleek tailoring, rich fabrics, and dazzling Solitario jewellery created a stylish, modern look. The final Wedding Collection segment presented regal ensembles by Louis Philippe, blending traditional charm with a modern twist for grooms and guests alike.

Speaking at the event, Kavindra Mishra, Managing Director & CEO of Shoppers Stop, said, “Weddings in India are stitched together with colour, culture, and connection. Our collection is designed to delight every member of the wedding tribe.”

The event was more than just a runway show — it offered a complete experiential celebration, showcasing Shoppers Stop’s wide range of apparel, beauty, accessories, and gifts.

As part of the India Weds campaign, shoppers can enjoy personalised wedding styling through the Personal Shopper service and exciting rewards. The top spender wins a five-night honeymoon to Europe, while the top ten shoppers receive Solitario diamond jewellery worth ₹1 lakh each. Customers spending ₹60,000 or more also get E-gift vouchers worth ₹16,000 and exclusive offers across over 40 top brands, including Ritu Kumar, Louis Philippe, MAC, Adidas, and Vero Moda.

The event beautifully combined fashion, emotion, and experience, making it a true celebration of India’s wedding spirit.
