High fashion often looks smooth and effortless on screen, but the reality can be very different. Actress Sayani Gupta recently shared a behind-the-scenes story that proves style can sometimes be uncomfortable.
While shooting for Four More Shots Please 4, Sayani wore a stunning lilac metal dress that cost Rs 1.67 lakh. She posted a picture on Instagram showing herself standing near a sunny beach, holding a drink and looking confident. However, the dress came with a painful experience.
The mini dress was made of metal and decorated with lilac stones. It had a bold cage-style design with an attached corset, giving it a strong and dramatic look. Styled with white strappy heels and a statement choker, the outfit matched the show’s bold fashion theme perfectly. On screen, it looked elegant, stylish, and futuristic.
But behind the camera, things were not so easy. Sayani revealed that the dress was made of hard metal, not soft material. During filming, it caused small paper cuts and constant discomfort as the sharp edges rubbed against her skin. What looked graceful and smooth on screen actually required a lot of patience and strength.
Despite the pain, Sayani continued shooting without complaints. She later shared the experience with honesty and humour, saying that the dress was still worth it. Her post gave fans a rare glimpse into the physical challenges actors face while wearing high-fashion outfits.
As Damini Rizvi Roy in Four More Shots Please, Sayani is known for carrying bold and confident looks. Her willingness to go through discomfort shows her dedication to the character and the show. The story also reminds viewers that glamorous fashion moments often come with unseen effort and sacrifice.
