Maruti Suzuki India Limited has rolled out a winter-special service campaign across its authorised service network to help car owners prepare their vehicles for the challenges posed by colder months. The initiative, running until 4 January 2026, offers a complimentary 27-point vehicle health inspection focusing on key systems that are typically stressed in low-temperature conditions.
As winter sets in across many parts of India, reduced visibility, increased use of heating and defogging functions, and battery performance concerns are common challenges drivers face. Maruti Suzuki’s latest service drive is part of its broader seasonal car care strategy aimed at preventive maintenance and enhanced road safety for its customers.
The free inspection covers critical vehicle components that have heightened importance in winter conditions. Technicians will assess the vehicle’s lighting system, including headlamps, fog lamps, brake lights, and turn signal indicators—elements that play a pivotal role when daylight hours are shorter and foggy conditions are frequent.
In addition to lighting, the campaign also evaluates the climate control and ventilation systems to ensure proper functioning of blower fans and defoggers—features essential for driver comfort and safety in cold weather. Air and AC filters are also checked to help maintain air quality inside the cabin.
Battery health and charging performance are key focus areas of the winter inspection, given that cold weather can reduce battery efficiency. The check also includes tyre pressure, wheel nut torque, and the condition of the spare wheel, as well as inspection for abnormal tyre wear or cracks. Brake systems are examined too, with technicians reviewing brake fluid levels and checking for potential pedal leakage.
Customers who visit Maruti Suzuki authorised workshops during the campaign period will also receive a complimentary car wash as part of the service drive. While the health check itself is free, any cost for repairs, part replacements, labour, and applicable taxes will be charged separately.
Maruti Suzuki’s winter service drive underscores its commitment to customer care and road safety, offering vehicle owners support at a time when seasonal conditions can affect performance and reliability.
