Jeep India has launched new Trail Editions for its popular Compass and Meridian SUVs. These factory-fitted special editions were revealed on July 16, 2025, with sales already underway. They come with stylish design updates and a unique ownership plan called “Jeep Trust”, offering extended warranty and maintenance benefits.
Stylish Design Upgrades
The Trail Editions are based on the Compass Longitude (O) and Meridian Limited (O) variants. Both models feature Trail Edition badges, black interiors with red accents, and camouflage-inspired details.
For the Compass Trail Edition, highlights include a matte black grille, neutral grey exterior elements, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside, it gets black leatherette seats with red stitching and a rugged theme.
The Meridian Trail Edition stands out with a black roof, piano black exterior finish, and neutral grey grille accents. Its interior features black vinyl upholstery, red highlights, and a piano black center console for a premium touch.
Ownership Benefits with Jeep Trust
Jeep has introduced the Jeep Trust program with these editions. Buyers of the Compass Trail Edition will get:
- 3-year Annual Maintenance Contract
- 5-year extended warranty
- ₹20,000 cash benefit
For Meridian Trail Edition customers, the 3-year maintenance plan is included in the purchase price.
Price and Availability
The Compass Trail Edition starts at ₹25.41 lakh, while the top-end Meridian Trail Edition AT 4X4 is priced at ₹37.27 lakh. Both models are available with manual and automatic transmissions, and the Meridian also offers a 4X4 option.
According to Kumar Priyesh, Business Head at Stellantis India, these editions reflect Jeep’s core values of freedom, adventure, and authenticity, while providing customers with an enhanced ownership experience.
These special Trail Editions will be available for a limited time at Jeep dealerships across India. Currently, Jeep India’s lineup includes the Wrangler, Compass, Meridian, and Grand Cherokee. India remains the first country outside North America where Jeep builds four models locally, also exporting them to other right-hand drive markets.
