Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recorded strong sales performance in September 2025, selling a total of 5,68,164 units. This marked a 6% month-on-month growth compared to August, reflecting steady demand in both domestic and export markets.
Out of the total, 5,05,693 units were sold within India, while exports contributed 62,471 units. The company’s sales momentum remained consistent in the first half of FY26 (April–September 2025), during which it achieved cumulative sales of 29,91,024 units. Of these, 26,79,507 units were sold in the domestic market and 3,11,517 units were exported, highlighting Honda’s strong presence across both segments.
Product Launches and Digital Push
In September, HMSI introduced the CB350C Special Edition in its premium 350cc motorcycle category. Priced at Rs. 2,01,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), the motorcycle is now available for bookings through Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide. The company also rolled out the MyHonda-India mobile app, aimed at offering customers a seamless digital ownership experience, from service reminders to vehicle-related updates.
Road Safety and Social Initiatives
Alongside sales, HMSI continued its focus on road safety. The company organized awareness campaigns in 13 cities, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Agra, and Trivandrum, where interactive sessions highlighted the importance of responsible riding. It also celebrated the anniversaries of its Safety Driving Education Centers in Vizag, Kozhikode, and Vijayawada.
The Honda India Foundation contributed to public safety by handing over 50 Quick Response Team (QRT) vehicles to the Gujarat Police under the Sadak Sahayak project. This initiative reflects Honda’s long-term vision of building a collision-free society by 2050.
Motorsports Participation
HMSI also kept up its motorsports activities. Its riders took part in MotoGP races held in Catalonia, San Marino, and Japan. Additionally, the third round of the 2025 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F was organized in Chennai, showcasing Honda’s commitment to nurturing young racing talent in India.
With strong sales, new launches, and community initiatives, HMSI ended September on a high note, reinforcing its position as one of the leading two-wheeler brands in India.
