Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported strong sales growth in November 2025, achieving a 25% year-on-year increase. The company sold 5,91,136 units in total, including 5,33,645 units domestically and 57,491 units exported. For the April-November 2025 period of fiscal year 2026, HMSI recorded 42,32,748 units in total sales, with 38,12,096 units sold within India and 4,20,652 units shipped overseas.

Alongside sales, HMSI focused on road safety awareness across the country. In November, the company conducted campaigns in 13 cities, including Nagpur, Nashik, Dwarka, Bokaro, Haldwani, and Belgaum. The campaigns used interactive methods to promote responsible road behavior among citizens. HMSI also organized a “Safety Explorers: Journey Through Traffic Land” kids’ carnival at its manufacturing facilities, 10 Traffic Training Parks (TTPs), and 6 Safety Driving Education Centers (SDECs). This initiative aimed to teach children safe habits and traffic rules through fun, hands-on activities.

Additionally, HMSI held Road Safety Conventions in Coimbatore and Varanasi, targeting school principals and teachers to strengthen road safety education for children.

The Honda India Foundation (HIF) also launched three important programs in November 2025. The Kaushal Vikas Kendra in Bengaluru, in partnership with Sarthak Educational Trust, provides vocational training and career guidance for persons with disabilities. The Career Progression Program supports General Duty Assistants trained under Project Pragati, helping healthcare workers move into specialized roles with guaranteed employment at Amrita Hospital. The Sports Talent Nurturing Program, in collaboration with Manav Rachna Sports Academy in Faridabad, trains young athletes from underprivileged backgrounds in badminton and table tennis, offering coaching, scientific training, and competitive exposure.

HMSI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Company Japan, operates four manufacturing plants in Manesar, Narsapura, Tapukara, and Vithalapur. The company maintains over 6,000 touchpoints and 100+ BigWing dealerships for premium motorcycles. Its popular products include scooters like Activa 110, Activa 125, Dio, Dio 125, and electric Activa e:, as well as motorcycles ranging from Shine 100 to CB350 and premium BigWing models like Africa Twin and Gold Wing Tour.

With strong sales, road safety initiatives, and talent development programs, HMSI continues to strengthen its position as India’s second-largest two-wheeler manufacturer.
