Strong Global Growth
Chinese carmaker Chery Group has achieved a major milestone by selling over two million vehicles globally between January and September 2025. This marks a 14.5% rise compared to last year and is the fastest time the company has ever reached this sales level. In September alone, Chery delivered 280,469 vehicles, showing a 14.7% increase from the same month last year.

Chery’s success is largely driven by the growing demand for its new energy vehicles (NEVs), which include electric and hybrid models. The company sold 91,590 NEVs in September, up by 55.4% year-on-year. From January to September, total NEV sales reached 587,545 units, a 77.1% jump compared to last year. This growth has helped Chery enter the top five NEV manufacturers in China.

Expanding Exports and Global Reach
Chery continues to dominate as China’s top vehicle exporter for the 22nd consecutive year. The company has also become the first Chinese brand to export over 130,000 vehicles in a single month and to cross five million total exports. For the last five months, its exports have stayed above 100,000 units each month, showing strong demand in overseas markets.

The company is expanding rapidly in Europe, entering new markets such as Poland, Greece, and Romania. Chery’s Tiggo series and other popular models have seen higher sales, helping boost its global presence.

Chery’s steady rise reflects its focus on innovation, clean energy, and international growth. The company’s strong NEV sales and expanding export base show that it is becoming a serious global competitor in both traditional and electric vehicle markets.

With its growing popularity in Asia, Europe, and other regions, Chery is on track to set even higher sales records in the coming months.
