OnePlus has announced its new gaming technology called OP Gaming Core, designed to make mobile gaming faster, smoother, and more stable. The company revealed that this advanced technology will be introduced in the upcoming OnePlus 15 series, offering players an improved gaming experience with higher frame rates and better touch response.
Powerful Gaming Performance
The OP Gaming Core combines chip-level design, hardware power, and software optimisations to deliver excellent control and stability during gaming. According to OnePlus, this system is built using more than 20,000 lines of code and supported by 254 patents. It operates deep within the Android system to boost gaming performance at its foundation.
At the centre of this new system is the OnePlus CPU Scheduler, which replaces the traditional scheduling system to better handle gaming tasks. This technology analyses workloads and reduces CPU instructions by up to 22.74 percent, leading to faster performance and lower power use. With this setup, users can enjoy a stable 120fps gameplay experience in popular titles.
Advanced Tri-Chip and HyperRendering
The OP Gaming Core works together with the new Performance Tri-Chip, which includes three chips – for performance, touch response, and Wi-Fi. Built on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, this system ensures quicker touch recognition and better network stability. The touch chip supports up to 330Hz touch sampling and 3200Hz instant response, meaning smoother control even in fast-paced games.
The Wi-Fi Chip G2 helps maintain stable connections, especially in areas with weak signals. It reduces lag and stutter, making gameplay more reliable and fluid.
Additionally, OnePlus introduced OP FPS Max and Next-Gen HyperRendering. The FPS Max allows 165Hz displays and 165fps gameplay, while HyperRendering boosts rendering efficiency by 80 percent and reduces frame delay to nearly zero.
These innovations make the OnePlus 15 series one of the most gaming-ready smartphones yet, promising unmatched performance, stability, and speed for mobile gamers everywhere.
