Motorola Unveils Stylish Moto G96 5G in India
Motorola has launched its new Moto G96 5G smartphone in India, offering powerful features at an attractive price. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip and comes with 8GB RAM. It has a premium design with a vegan leather back and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Moto G96 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ curved pOLED display with a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and supports touch input even with wet fingers.
Price and Colour Options
The Moto G96 5G is priced at ₹17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version. It will be available from July 16 on Flipkart and Motorola’s official website. Buyers can choose from four stylish colours: Ashleigh Blue, Dresden Blue, Cattleya Orchid, and Greener Pastures.
High-End Camera and Battery
The phone’s rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with macro support. On the front, it features a 32MP camera with support for 4K video recording. Motorola has added AI-based photo enhancement tools for better images.
The Moto G96 5G comes with a large 5,500mAh battery and supports 33W TurboPower fast charging through a USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI and promises three years of security updates.

The phone includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and supports 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC. It measures just 7.93mm thick and weighs 178.1g, making it sleek and lightweight.
