Samsung is all set to launch its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M36 5G, in India today. This new phone will replace the Galaxy M35 5G and is expected to offer upgraded features at a competitive price.
Affordable and Stylish
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M36 5G will be priced under ₹20,000, making it a strong competitor against other mid-range phones like the CMF Phone 2 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. The phone is likely to be available on Amazon, Samsung’s official online store, and retail shops across India.
The Galaxy M36 5G will come in three attractive colours: Orange Haze, Serene Green, and Velvet Black. It is designed to be slim and sleek, with a thickness of just 7.7mm.
Packed with Impressive Features
The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The screen will also be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for better durability and will have a punch-hole design for the front camera.
In terms of photography, Samsung has confirmed that the phone will come with a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It will also have a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Both cameras will support 4K video recording.
The Galaxy M36 5G is likely to run on Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chipset and will have at least 6GB of RAM. It will operate on the new One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung has teased some exciting features like Galaxy AI tools and Google’s Circle to Search, which will enhance user experience.
To keep the phone running all day, it may come with a 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging support, which means users can charge the phone quickly and stay powered for longer.
With its mix of stylish design, strong performance, and a reasonable price, the Galaxy M36 5G looks like a promising choice for budget smartphone buyers.
