Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G: A Stylish Phone With Big Battery

Oppo has launched its new mid-premium phone, the Reno 14 Pro 5G, and it comes with some exciting upgrades. Priced at ₹49,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB model, the phone will be available on Amazon from July 8. A higher variant with 512GB storage is also available for ₹54,999.

Premium Design and Display

The Reno 14 Pro has a sleek and premium design. It’s available in two colour options: Pearl White with a shiny gradient and Titanium Grey, which looks more subtle. The phone is thin (7.48mm) and light (201g), making it easy to hold.

Oppo has used a 100% recycled aluminium frame and introduced Velvet Glass, giving the phone a smooth feel. The phone is also dust and water-resistant with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings.

The 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display offers 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. It also features Gorilla Glass 7i for strong protection and has 1,200nits brightness, making it great for outdoor use.

Powerful Cameras

The Reno 14 Pro has an impressive triple rear camera setup:

  • 50MP main camera with OIS
  • 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x zoom
  • 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 116° FoV

For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera. It can record 4K HDR videos at 60fps. The camera includes several AI features, such as AI Unblur, AI Eraser, and AI Perfect Shot, for better photo editing.

Battery, Performance & Features

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It includes gaming features, a new AI cooling system, and ColorOS 15 with smart tools like AI Translate and AI VoiceScribe.

The Reno 14 Pro has a massive 6,200mAh battery, the biggest in the Reno series. It supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

While the phone looks great and offers a solid camera, its performance specs may feel average against competitors like iQOO 13 and OnePlus 13s. Stay tuned for the full review!
