The upcoming Nothing Phone 3 will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Chennai, India, which currently employs over 500 staff members.
Set to launch soon in both India and global markets, Nothing has started teasing the design of the smartphone, which is rumored to debut without the signature Glyph interface. Like the Nothing Phone 2 and the budget-friendly Phone 3a series, the Phone 3 will also be made in India. A recently leaked design render, shared by a journalist, offers an early glimpse of the handset’s possible look.
Nothing Phone 3 Leak Confirms A024 Model Number
On Thursday, Nothing shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), unveiling a glimpse of the bottom right portion of the rear panel of the upcoming Nothing Phone 3. The image confirms that model number A024 belongs to the Phone 3, which is scheduled to launch globally and in India on July 1.
In a separate post, the Nothing India account on X confirmed that the phone will be manufactured in India. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis also mentioned in a post that he plans to revisit the company’s factory in Chennai, where more than 500 employees are currently based.
While Nothing has been slowly teasing the design of the Phone 3, a journalist recently leaked what appears to be a full render of the device’s back panel. It shows a transparent design similar to previous models, but notably without the Glyph interface. The leaked image also hints at a triple rear camera setup housed within a circular camera module.
Previous reports suggest the Nothing Phone 3 will feature flagship-level specifications, possibly powered by a Dimensity 9400 or a Snapdragon 8 series processor. CEO Carl Pei recently hinted that the phone could be priced around GBP 800 (approximately Rs. 93,000), placing it in competition with top-tier devices like the Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 16.
