Nothing is set to launch its first over-ear headphones, called Nothing Headphone 1, on July 1. Although the company hasn’t shared any official details, leaked images and design renders have appeared online, giving fans a sneak peek at what to expect.
The leaked photos, shared by Nothing Fan Blog on Instagram, show that the headphones may have a transparent design, just like some of Nothing’s earlier products. The earcups look unique, with a rectangular base and a raised oval section, similar to the shape of a cassette tape. The earcups also seem to have multiple buttons, and one side even has a noticeable large button.
Both the earcups and the headband are cushioned, which may offer better comfort for long use. The words “Nothing Headphone 1” appear on the earcups. The leaked images suggest the headphones will come in black and white colour options, but reports say the white version may be replaced with a grey one in some markets like the US.
Another leak by X (formerly Twitter) user @EqualLeaks shows that the headphones could include both a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack, giving users wired and wireless options.
The price of Nothing Headphone 1 is expected to be $309 (around Rs. 26,700) in the US. In the UK, it might cost GBP 299 (around Rs. 34,700) and in Europe, EUR 299 (around Rs. 29,700).
The launch will happen alongside the Nothing Phone 3, and both devices are expected to be available in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe. Fans are excited to see how Nothing’s unique transparent design and tech features perform in their first headphone model.
