BMW has revealed a fun new version of its electric two-wheeler – and it’s not just a bike, it’s a mobile DJ station! Called the BMW DE 02, this unique creation is the result of a special collaboration between BMW Motorrad and Australian fashion brand Deus Ex Machina.
The DE 02 is based on BMW’s compact electric scooter, the CE 02, which is already known for its cool design and small size. To make it even more eye-catching, Deus Ex Machina added some exciting custom features. These include a handmade leather seat, four mini Marshall speakers, and even a foldable DJ turntable. That’s why many are calling it a “DJ booth on two wheels”.
BMW is currently taking this custom bike on a tour around France, where it is being displayed at different locations. After that, it will be showcased at BMW Motorrad dealerships and Deus Ex Machina boutiques across the country.
However, this funky electric scooter won’t be available to buy. It’s just a one-off model meant to show how electric bikes can be made more stylish and fun. It might inspire other bike lovers to customise their rides in unique ways.
The base model, the BMW CE 02, is already on sale in India at a starting price of Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It runs on a 3.9 kWh battery, offers a range of up to 95 km, and can go from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3 seconds. Its top speed is 95 km/h.
This new version, DE 02, is a great example of what happens when fashion meets technology – turning a regular ride into a party on wheels!
