AAP Celebrates Wins, Calls It a Big Political Shift

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) celebrated big wins in recent by-elections in Gujarat and Punjab, calling it a “historic shift in Indian politics.” Party leader Arvind Kejriwal said the victories in Ludhiana West and Visavadar show people trust AAP and are tired of old political parties like BJP and Congress.

At a rally in Delhi, Kejriwal said AAP stands for honest and clean politics, not for power or money. He accused BJP and Congress of working together behind the scenes and said, “They are two sides of the same coin.”

In Gujarat, Gopal Italia won against the BJP. In Punjab, Sanjeev Arora increased his winning margin, showing that people support AAP’s work. Kejriwal said Arora’s win was a sign of growing trust in the party’s governance.

Kejriwal also praised Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann for cracking down on drug crimes, saying previous governments even protected smugglers. Mann said AAP changed politics by giving power to honest workers instead of family members.

Italia called his win a sign that Gujarat wants change after 30 years of BJP rule. Arora added that his win was because of clean campaigning and development work.

Kejriwal ended by saying these wins are just the beginning. He believes AAP will do even better in 2027 elections and form the government in more states.

With these wins, AAP hopes to become a strong national alternative focused on honest politics and public service.
