The revised Skoda Kushaq has come with new styling and introduced features and better technology. The huge inquiry is how it can provide the same fun driving experience it was characterized by–and the answer to the question appears to be yes.
Modest yet evident alterations of design are introduced with the facelift. The SUV is made sharper with a more modern light signature using a grille and cleaner LED headlamps at the front. The bumper has also been redesigned to make the car have a better appearance on the road. On the side, the Kushaq maintains its clean and simple appearance, made fresh with new designs of alloy wheels. Newest LED tail lamps and new bumper enhance its image at the back.
The updates become clearer inside of the cabin. The dashboard is also the same but more sophisticated with improved materials and finish. The 10.25 inch instrument cluster is fully digital and gives it a touch of modernity. The infotainment system has also been equipped with better software and it is more user friendly. It has new features of ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof and even rear passenger massage seat which is not common in this category.
The SUV has maintained good basics such as six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill-hold assist, in the aspect of safety. It is however still lacking advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which some of its competitors currently have.
The Kushaq still has proven engines underneath the hood. The TSI 1.5 litre is also very powerful with a fast 7-speed automatic transmission. The 1.0-litre engine has now been equipped with an 8-speed automatic that is more efficient on the highway, but a little less smooth at the city level.
In general, the 2026 Kushaq is a balanced SUV. It introduces the aspects of modernity without compromising its driver oriented nature, thus being a competitive candidate in its category.
