Kate Middleton Shines in Green at Parade Event
Catherine, Princess of Wales, also known as Kate Middleton, attended the annual St Patrick’s Day parade with the Irish Guards in the UK. The royal event took place at Mons Barracks, where she joined the soldiers in celebration.
Kate attended the parade in her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, a position she received in 2022 after a reshuffle of royal duties by King Charles III. She has been part of this tradition since 2012, often alongside her husband Prince William, who earlier held the same role.
This year, she attended the event alone, continuing a trend from 2025. Despite being solo, she appeared confident and cheerful during the celebrations.
For the occasion, Kate chose a stylish all-green outfit to match the theme of the day. She re-wore a long forest-green coat by Alexander McQueen, which she had previously worn to the same parade last year. She refreshed the look with black accessories, giving it a slightly updated style.
She also wore elegant diamond-and-emerald earrings from Asprey London, adding a touch of royal charm to her appearance.
A special detail of her outfit was the shamrock pinned to her coat. The shamrock is a well-known Irish symbol linked to St. Patrick, who is believed to have used it to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity. It also represents Irish pride, culture, and faith.
Kate’s appearance once again showed her ability to combine tradition with modern fashion, making her a standout at the annual celebration.
