Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) recorded impressive growth in November 2025, reporting total sales of 30,085 units. This marks a solid 19% increase compared to the same month last year when the company sold 25,182 units. Out of the total sales this year, 26,418 units were sold in the domestic market, while 3,667 units were exported. The rise in sales reflects strong demand during the festive season and positive market conditions.
According to Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Used Car Business, several factors helped boost the company’s performance. He said that the government’s progressive GST reforms, increased customer confidence, and festive-time demand played a big role. Recently launched special editions such as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and the Fortuner Leader Edition also attracted many buyers and received positive feedback across India.
Apart from sales achievements, Toyota Kirloskar Motor is also engaging with customers through cultural activities. The company is currently hosting Japan’s famous performance group Drum Tao, who are also Toyota’s brand ambassadors. The group is on a 14-city tour across India, celebrating the cultural bond between India and Japan. The shows have already been held in cities like Chennai, Shillong, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, and Jaipur. The tour will continue through December with performances in Kohima, Guwahati, Indore, Varanasi, Mumbai, Pune, Andaman, and a final show in Bangalore on December 21, 2025.
On November 23, 2025, Toyota also opened the Toyota Experiential Museum (TEM), a unique lifestyle and cultural hub. This new space offers visitors multi-sensory experiences and combines Japanese design with Indian philosophy. The museum has three special zones: immersive rooms, a merchandise store, and a café that serves authentic Japanese matcha.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor currently operates with support from Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan and Kirloskar Systems Limited of India. The company employs more than 6,500 people and works across a large 432-acre facility with a total production capacity of up to 342,000 units.
The company’s two plants in Bidadi manufacture a wide range of popular models including the Innova HyCross, Fortuner, Camry Hybrid, and Hilux. Toyota’s product lineup in India also includes models like the Glanza, Rumion, and Urban Cruiser Taisor, along with premium imports such as the Vellfire and LC 300.
