Xiaomi 17T Pro Listed on IMEI Database
Xiaomi’s next-generation T-series smartphone, the 17T Pro, has reportedly appeared on the IMEI database, hinting at an early 2026 launch. The listing includes model numbers 2602EPTC0G and 2602EPTC0R, with the ‘2602’ prefix suggesting a February 2026 rollout. This marks a shift from Xiaomi’s usual September launch cycle for its T-series, which saw the 15T series debut in September 2025.
The upcoming 17T series is internally codenamed ‘chagall’ and ‘warhol,’ though it remains unclear which codename belongs to the standard 17T or the Pro variant. Rumours suggest the Xiaomi 17T will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor, while the 17T Pro could be powered by the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Xiaomi fans are also expecting new storage options, potentially including a 1TB variant, to cater to users with high storage demands.
Expected Features and Specs
The Xiaomi 15T series, which launched globally in September, featured MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, 5,500mAh batteries, and Leica-branded triple rear cameras. The standard 15T offered 67W wired charging, while the Pro model supported 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, both models had IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
While the official details for the 17T Pro are yet to be confirmed, expectations include improvements in processing power, camera capabilities, and charging speeds. Fans also anticipate design refinements and enhanced software features to align with Xiaomi’s premium T-series positioning.
With Xiaomi skipping the 16T moniker, the 17T series is expected to generate considerable excitement among smartphone enthusiasts. The IMEI listing fuels speculation about an early launch, giving fans a first glimpse into the next T-series flagship lineup.
As Xiaomi prepares to unveil its next flagship, tech enthusiasts will be closely watching official announcements for confirmation on specifications, pricing, and availability. Early 2026 could mark the start of another high-profile launch for Xiaomi, continuing its strategy of combining performance, style, and innovation.
